"Destiny and War" - Snow White and the Huntsman Unofficial Soundtrack by Oaksdonsad

Destiny and War - Snow White and the Huntsman Unofficial Soundtrack by Oaksdonsad

This track was composed as an unofficial score to "Snow White and the Huntsman", inspired by the plot and the trailers of the movie. Download this track (MP3): www.crocko.com Trailers of the movie: www.youtube.com www.youtube.com www.youtube.com I tried to capture the essence of what the movie appears to be on the trailers: dramatic, dark and action-heavy. I tried to create a track with usual fantasy soundtrack mannerisms, mixing some electronics as well, following the musical direction of the trailers. The track immediately introduces the theme for Snow White (0:03) in flute, followed by an interlude at 0:28. I aimed to represent Snow White's exotic beauty and courage in this theme, which is the reason why it passes from flute to strings. The two partes of the theme are then used as some kind of battle call, among the drum marches and action music chaos: you can hear the main phrase of the theme at 1:18 and the interlude at 1:38. The evil Queen is represent by a crescendo s! tarting at 1:53, where choir and synths join a persistent string rythm. Then, among synth pads and athmosphere, you can hear some kind of battle cry on oboe (2:28). From here, the action music returns, with a string ostinato at 3:10 (you can hear Snow White's theme on horns too, starting at 3:21), that represents Snow White's final victory. A hopeful variaton of the Snow White's theme interlude ends the track on strings and choir, starting at 4:05. A great inspiration for this track was Harry Gregson ...
